PRIORITY 1 - Action:

Take action to expand our reach and increase our ability to adapt. Broomfield Rotary will strive to attract and engage individuals from diverse backgrounds who bring new perspectives and ideas. We are looking for People of Action who value the friendships and fellowship that come from serving the community.

Our Top Priority To Attract and Engage "People of Action."

Rotary International and its local chapters, like the Broomfield Rotary Club, have had a positive impact on communities all over the world. Our mission as People of Action is to change lives in our community and the world by providing impactful services and support.

To achieve this mission, attracting and engaging People of Action who share this vision is our top priority; nothing else happens without them. Our members share a vision, exchange ideas, and take actions that create positive changes. Since our founding in 1959, the Broomfield Rotary Club has been a chapter of Rotary International. Our goal has been to deliver services to families and individuals, improve education, and change lives. Our Foundation has given over $300,000 dollars to support more than 50 service projects in Broomfield and beyond.

We believe that by working together with our members and partners, we can create a ripple effect of positive change that extends far beyond our community.

PRIORITY 2 - Leadership:

Take the lead in service and support of the community. We will take the lead in creating additional and meaningful partnerships with community members, businesses, civic leaders, and other charitable organizations.

At Broomfield Rotary, we think that leadership is about inspiring, motivating, and guiding others to achieve a shared goal or vision. We’re a group of people who believe in integrity, expertise, and service. Our aim is to use our skills and resources to make a positive impact in Broomfield and beyond. We believe that empowering others to become leaders is essential to achieving this goal. Here are a few examples of opportunities we offer for learning, growth, and collaboration.

Service Above Self: Rotary’s leadership is characterized by a commitment to Service Above Self. Our members are dedicated to creating positive change not only in Broomfield but worldwide. We continue to look for new ways to improve our service, welcome new ideas, challenges, and opportunities from our members and partners, and celebrate our achievements.
Extensive Training: Rotarians are leaders who undergo extensive training to achieve the club’s goals. Our President, Vice President, and Board of Directors use this training to foster fellowship, plan public service events, focus our club’s humanitarian services, and train new members. We encourage club members to assume these leadership positions and contribute to our success.
Setting an Example: We believe that by setting an example, we can inspire others to create positive change in their communities.
Community Engagement: Broomfield Rotary helps organize events and activities that promote community engagement, mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities.
Youth Programs: Broomfield Rotary offers a number of leadership opportunities in the club and the community. Some members also work with youth programs

PRIORITY 3 - Fellowship:

Fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among members has always been one of the most important priorities for Rotary International and each of the associated chapter clubs. We are a platform for like-minded individuals who come together, share ideas, and work towards common goals.

Our club organizes a number of events and activities that promote fellowship among members, including:

Regular meetings
Social gatherings
Community service projects
Fundraising events

These activities provide opportunities for members to connect with one another, build relationships, and develop a sense of belonging.

Mentorship and Professional Development

Additionally, we encourage mentorship and professional development among members. Rotarians often serve as mentors to younger members, providing guidance and support in their personal and professional endeavors. This mentorship fosters a sense of fellowship and creates a supportive environment within the club.

PRIORITY 4 - Service:

Broomfield Rotary is committed to increasing the impact of our services by improving all fundraising efforts and increasing our hours of volunteer work. All fundraising dollars are pledged to other charitable foundations, local non-profits, and public service projects such as Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Service

Rotary clubs are dedicated to creating lasting change in the world, their communities, and themselves. They bring together people across generations who share the ideals of service, friendship, diversity, integrity, and leadership. Rotary clubs are changing communities worldwide, from big cities to rural villages.

Rotary International

Rotary International and its 46,000+ clubs work together to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, sanitation and improve hygiene. We support basic education and literacy, grow local economies, protect the environment and save mothers and children through accessible health care and other services. These broad areas of focus allow Rotary clubs to address a wide range of issues and make a positive impact on society.

Broomfield Rotary

Broomfield Rotary is working to identify the needs of our community and develop projects accordingly. By working together with other organizations and volunteers, Broomfield Rotary has made it a priority to increase volunteer services to the community and improve all fundraising efforts that help support local non-profits, such as the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Broomfield Senior Resources, the Police and Fireman's Fund and our local food bank (Fish).

Our Causes

We support a number of causes that align with our goal. Some examples are:

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library: Where we help provide free books to kids.
Fire and Police Fund: We sponsor this fund to provides financial assistance to police officers, firefighters and their families who are injured or lost in the line of duty.
Bal Swan Elementary School: We provide financial assistance to this school.
Senior Citizens: We provide financial assistance to senior citizens.
Fish: We provide financial assistance to our local food bank.
Rotary International Foundation: We work with and provide financial assistance to our parent organization that is dedicated to causes that build international relations, end polio forever, improve lives, promote peace, protect the environment and create a better world.
