The Broomfield Rotary Foundation's Police and Fire Fund: Supporting Our Local Heroes

Established in 2003 by the visionary collaboration of Broomfield Rotary members – Police Chief Tom Deland, Fire Chief John O’Hayre, and Rotarian John Abboud – the Police and Fire Fund embodies the spirit of community support. These dedicated individuals recognized the unique sacrifices made by Broomfield’s first responders and envisioned a safety net for their families during unforeseen hardships.

Administered with care and diligence by the Broomfield Rotary Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the fund provides crucial assistance to the families of our police officers and firefighters when they face times of need. This might include support during illness, injury, or other unexpected life challenges, offering a helping hand when it matters most.

The establishment of this fund underscores the deep connection between the Broomfield Rotary Club and the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting our community. It’s a testament to the power of local partnerships and a tangible way to show gratitude for their unwavering service.
