Amanda, a Deputy District Attorney in Jefferson County, designed their Animal Abuse Division. She will explain how her office is supporting and training police officers and animal control workers in their investigations to charge offenders for animal abuse; difficulties in prosecuting some ofnthese cases; and why these cases are important to the community.
