Broomfield Evening Rotary Club Donates $5000.00 to Devastated USA cities

The Broomfield Rotary charitable Foundation has sent financial aid to Rotary Clubs located in Joplin, Missouri, Memphis, Tennessee, and Tuscaloosa Alabama; cities hit hard by tornadoes and flooding. Loss of lives and property has caused personal suffering and great economic stress.

Broomfield Evening Rotary Club members followed the media reports describing the heavy losses suffered by these communities and decided to express their sympathies by offering financial assistance to those who have lost loved ones, homes, and businesses.

Broomfield Evening Rotary confirmed that Rotary Clubs in these communities were joining in the work of restoring businesses and aiding families by   providing temporary housing and replacing personal belongings. The funds contributed by the BRCF will be joined with monetary contributions made by the Rotary Clubs in these three cities trying to restore their communities.

Broomfield Rotarians, and all Broomfield families, understand how difficult it is for the people of these three cities who are trying to cope with their current living conditions and rebuild their lives; some without loved ones who perished in the horrific storms.
