Audrey Leavette

November 16, 2023, Audrey Leavitt, a Rotarian and a member of the Mile High Rotary Club and the District 5450 Polio Committee, shared the story of her part in Rotary's drive to end Polio. She has been actively involved in eradicating polio across the globe. Audrey’s journey began in 1999 when she traveled to Madagascar to do inoculations with a team from Rotary District 7450. That experience had a profound effect on her, and since then, she has helped with National Inoculation Days (NIDs) in Nigeria and several times in India. Audrey continues to give presentations on the importance of Rotary International’s mission to eliminate polio. She urges us, as a club and club members, to continue supporting this noble cause.
