Broomfield Rotary welcomed City & County Manager, Jennifer Hoffman, to its weekly meeting on April 14, 2023. Her presentation included an extensive discussion of the County planning and budgeting process. She also included an update on the Broomfield Civic Center project, while explaining the County's difficulty financing and completing it given current infrastructure, water resources and budget.
Also mentioned in Ms. Hoffman’s presentation was the upcoming property tax assessments. She emphasized the difficulty these assessments will likely have on Broomfield residents, especially the elderly, given the recent inflation of property evaluations.
