Rotary District Governor Tamara fannell
DG Tamie provided an overview of district operations by stating that the District employs a bottom-up approach and wants to support clubs in their endeavours. She asked members to describe the origin of their favourite club projects and why it remains impactful to the community. She then shared her own story of how her upbringing instilled in her a passion for service.

  • Family of Rotary coffee event
    • A new event to engage the spouses, partners, friends, kids of our members. Join Amanda Gordon on Monday October 28 from 9-10am at Precious Perks Café inside the Precious Child building. Please RSVP to Amanda at (702) 353-0935.
  • World Polio Day 
    • As Rotary International's corporate goal, let's all continue to raise awareness to eradicate polio. World Polio Day on 10/24 is the perfect time to do this.

    • Service Director Kymberly Groom, PP Ben Vagher, and PEN Dennis Kennedy provided feedback. Lots of interaction and visits to our various booths. Bob Hoyle mentioned that he counted 15 different organizations that our club had a direct connection with!
  • Podcast
    • PEN Dennis Kennedy unveiled the club's latest membership tool - our very own club podcast! Weekly recordings can be found at the bottom of the club homepage.
  • Road to Calgary
    • AG Rebecca said that she launched a fundraiser to benefit RI. She will walk the equivalent miles from Munich to Calgary, next year's RI convention location. That equates to about 6 miles per day. She welcomes donations & fellow walkers!
  • Bingo
    • Bingo will start on October 6 in Longmont. Contact PP Ben if you are able to volunteer.
