Jerry Miller

Broomfield Rotarians,

Unfortunately, we have recently lost a valued member of our club, Jerry Miller. He was not only a fellow Rotarian but also a true leader who took it upon himself to personally mentor many of our members. We are truly going to miss him!

On a brighter note, we will soon be sharing Jerry’s life story, so stay tuned for that. Instead of having a traditional service, Jerry had a special request. He asked that in his memory, donations be made to two of his favorite charitable organizations: The Broomfield Rotary Charitable Foundation and Shriners Hospital for Children. It’s a beautiful way to honor his legacy.

Lastly, if you’d like to show your support in another way, you can send flowers to Jerry’s family or even plant a tree in his memory. Simply visit our floral store for more information.

First Thursday in April at the Veterans Museum

Our first meeting in April happened at the Veterans Museum on April 4, 2024. The meeting was well attended and a short presentation was made by Gary Francis of our club and the current President of the Museum. A short tour was conducted and Pizza was provided from Original Pizza. War stories shared by Gary Francis, Pete Snyder, and John Petacolas of the museum staff followed the dinner and members took advantage of the tours provided by members of the museum staff. At the conclusion of the gathering a check was presented by our club Foundation to the museum for their operating expenses.
