Polio Survivor: Dr. Marny Eulberg
 
Our speaker on October 24, 2024 was Dr. Marny Eulberg. She is a retired family physician and a polio survivor who has dedicated much of her career to supporting polio survivors and working towards polio eradication. She practices in Wheat Ridge and has been actively involved in various organizations related to polio health.
 
Dr. Eulberg founded the Mountain & Plains Post-Polio Clinic and the Human Gait Institute, a nonprofit organization focused on advancements in orthoses for individuals with disabilities. She also serves on the Board of Polio Health International and is the District 5450 Polio Plus committee chairperson for Rotary.

  • Foundation Treasurer Gary Francis presented a BRCF grant of $5,000 to Maya Brook of Mending Faces. She updated the club of some of the organization’s latest medical trip to the Philippines to help children with cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries.

  • World Polio Day 
    •  As Rotary International's corporate goal, let's all continue to raise awareness to eradicate polio. World Polio Day on 10/24 is the perfect time to do this.

    • PP Kurt Sava informed the club of the upcoming Wreaths Across America event on Saturday December 14 at 10am.
  • Holiday Party
    • The club’s annual holiday party will be on Thursday December 12 at Broadlands.
  • Santa Cops
    • PP Gary Francis informed membership about the upcoming shopping service project. We will shop for toys for the kids on Thursday November 14 at the Walmart on 120th.
