Rotary Golf Tournament & Open Fairways
On Monday, May 19, 2008 the Broomfield Rotary Club presented the fifth
annual golf tournament that benefits the
Metro Firefighters Fund which assists the men and
women of these departments, and their families, when a police officer or aÂ
fire fighter is  hurt or killed in the line of duty. Approximately 156 golfers
celebrated the weather and game at Eagle Trace Golf Club.
Forty-seven businesses, contributed goods, services
and money to make this event the most successful of the Rotary Golf
Tournaments.  From its inception, this tournament has proven to be one of the
most popular events of its kind, selling out all available golf foursomes
each year. The funds raised by this event are shared by the Broomfield Police
and North Metro Firefighters Benefit Funds and the
