Marianna Williamson (Executive Director) along with Avery Becklenburg (Youth Advisory Council Director) gave us an update on Broomfield Community Foundation.  I have included an email below from Marianna that covers all that was covered in their presentation. 
  Dave Manley (past board member) gave a strong & passionate commentary on how important the igive365 fundraising program is for BCF.  I was also actively involved in starting the program when I was on the board – highly recommend supporting BCF and the igive365 program.

Avery and I are so grateful for the warm welcome last night and the opportunity to present to the group-- thank you so much.

Key happenings/ updates with links to more info:
  • Heart of Broomfield nomination deadline is NEXT FRIDAY 5/26. Consider nominating someone or encouraging others in your network to nominate. 
  • Youth Advisory Council push for nominations through the end of this month. Avery has transformed and added so much structure and value to this group-- please share with those in your network who have civic or service-minded kids entering 9-12th grade next year 
  • Our tapkat cash sweepstakes is now open! Donations through this link (until July 4th) enters people for a chance to win $3k! We will be on site at the Great American Picnic, so please join us in celebration of the 30th Anniversary
     
  • For those who may have an interest in Environmental Sustainability, we are putting on a Panel presentation on June 20th at 5 pm with local experts from Baseline, City/Cty of BF, Premier Members CU and Sustainable Broomfield. RSVP and more info HERE
