Hi Joe,
Sorry for not emailing you earlier. I have alot to tell you.
The depth of the well is 130 metres and the flow rate of the water is 15,000 liters per hour. It is the most productive borehole in that region.
After the well was dug, the school bought the water pump and it was installed. We then bought 2 heavy duty plastic tanks of 10,000 litres each and they have also been installed. The water is flowing freely now and there is alot of it.There is only a bit of piping work remaining and that will be complete by he end of this week. Last week the school had its open day where all the parents of the students had been invited. I had also been invited and there were some dignitaries who were the chief guests. At this function the borehole was formally commissioned. I took some pictures and i also filmed the whole function on a video camera. i am in the process of putting the film on a CD and will send you a copy. It is a very amateur work but it will give you a very good idea of the place, people, borehole, etc. They are also messages for you from the school kids, teachers, parents, etc.
Don did come to the club but forgot to bring the flag, he said that he will come to the club again and bring it. He comes to our club regularly, I'm sure he will bring it soon.

Hi Joe,
The pump test on the borehole was carried out last week and the borehole has
the capacity to pump 15,000 litres per hour. That is ALOT OF WATER. It is a
record for that area and everybody including the Ministry of Water was
surprised at that capacity. The most productive borehole in that area was
pumping 3,000 litres of water. God has been very kind to us. We are now
waiting for a quotation for the pump and could be installed in another week
or so.
We are very lucky that this borehole has struck alot of water and you and
your people in the US should be very proud of yourselves for working very
hard on this project.
Will Keep you updated.
