The Broomfield Rotary Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that is supported solely by voluntary contributions from members of the Rotary Club of Broomfield and friends of the Foundation. They share the commitment to service that began in 1959 with the founding of the Rotary Club of Broomfield – the first service club in Broomfield.

 

Purpose

The Broomfield Rotary Foundation, Inc. is the foundation of the Rotary Club of Broomfield. The mission of the Foundation is to secure the resources necessary to support the Mission of the Rotary Club of Broomfield: 
Why should I donate to The Rotary Foundation?

 

The Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation and therefore accepts gifts that may be tax deductible. The Foundation is managed by a group of seven trustees who are all members of our club. Currently, the trustees allocate 3% of the principal for local charitable giving.
 

How does The Rotary Foundation use donations?

Since its inception on April 3, 1998, the Foundation has given over $300,000 dollars to support service projects of the Rotary Club of Broomfield, including:
  • Bal Swan Children’s Center
  • Broomfield Fish
  • FRIENDS of Broomfield
  • Rocky Mountain RYLA
  • Senior Resources of Broomfield

Supporting the Foundation

Contributions to the Broomfield Rotary Foundation, Inc. may be tax-deductible within the limitations of the law and provide opportunities for both Rotarians and friends of the Foundation to support the service projects of the Rotary Club of Broomfield. Individuals can support the Foundation through contributions of cash, securities, or property. All members are asked to participate and support the Foundation on an annual basis ensuring the continued growth of the principal amount.
